"Lena Paßlick (b. 1995 in Ochtrup, Germany) is a photographer who lives and studies in The Netherlands. She holds a BA in Fine Art from AKI Academy for Art and Design, Enschede (2018) and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in photography at the Master Institute of Visual Cultures AKV St. Joost, 's Hertogenbosch. Growing up in a fast-developing digital age, analog photography teaches me to sharpen my attention. The choice of my medium enables me to delimit myself from my Zeitgeist by focusing on my fascination with mid-20th-century fashion and architecture. This approach to photography is driven by the impulses of shapes and lines with raw surfaces and simple compositions, which avoid factors such as time or personal relationships."
